A founder's marketing budget is small and every rupee has a job. Under the Startup India initiative, eligible companies can get recognised by DPIIT to access tax benefits, easier compliance and IPR fast-tracking, but nothing in that pays for marketing. So a digital marketing agency for startups should be judged on how much it asks you to commit before it has shown any result.
This list gives you ten names to research. Margo Digitech publishes it and sits first, Transcurators sits second, and the other eight appear in Google results for this search. We read each company's own homepage, so every line below is what the company says about itself. Our guide to digital marketing costs in India helps you set a budget first.

Which agencies make the list?
The order below is ours for the first two places and not a ranking for the other eight.
1. Margo Digitech
Margo Digitech calls itself a brand strategy agency and says it brings strategy, content, design, video and branding together under one team. Its brand solutions page runs from daily social content to full-scale brand launches and rebranding, which is the stretch a new company needs.
It describes a five-step process: discover and define, strategy and planning, create and execute, launch and amplify, then measure and scale. It says every project begins with audience research, competitor analysis, positioning and a roadmap, and that it builds creative decisions on business objectives, not assumptions.
Consider it if you want one team for brand, content and launch instead of several vendors. Ask what a first three-month scope would cover. No rates are listed, but it promises a tailored strategy brief within 24 hours of hearing your challenge. We publish this guide, so weigh our own entry with that in mind.
2. Transcurators
Transcurators is a content writing agency, so it won't run your ads or build your brand. It says it has written for 500+ brands, serving startups, enterprises and everything in between, and describes 50+ writers and editors across multiple industries and niches, with experience across 35+ business domains. Its homepage lists blog writing, SEO content writing, technical content writing and article writing.
A startup's website, blog and product pages carry a lot of its first impression. Consider it if you need those pages written by someone other than a founder at midnight.
Ask for samples in your industry and who edits them. No rates are listed, though the site promises competitive rates and unlimited revisions until you're satisfied. Ask whether the contract limits those revisions.
3. HivePulse Media
HivePulse Media has a page for startups in Delhi and says it builds data-driven strategies that turn online searches into leads, paying customers and scalable revenue. It says every rupee in a startup's budget must earn its place, that it builds campaigns around cost-per-lead and revenue impact, and that each startup client gets one dedicated account manager.
It's unusually open on money. It lists startup packages from ₹8,000 a month for social media management, rising to ₹60,000 or more for full-funnel work, and websites from ₹12,000.
Look at it if a published price matters. Ask what the ₹8,000 plan includes and how long the contract runs.
4. Digital Ultras
Digital Ultras says it helps startups, SMEs and established businesses grow through SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media marketing and website development. It says it has partnered with 1000+ businesses, from startups to established brands, and that it builds customised growth strategies.
Its homepage also lists performance marketing across Google Ads, Meta Ads and YouTube, and offers a free consultation chat on WhatsApp.
It suits you if you want a Delhi NCR team that already serves young companies. Ask for two startup clients you can speak to, and what a first month looks like. No prices are shown on the homepage.
5. Betasaurus
Betasaurus calls itself a results-driven digital marketing and creative agency founded in 2017, with a presence in Jaipur, Mumbai and Dubai. It says it has a team of 40+ certified experts and has executed over 450 projects. Its services include branding, from positioning and naming to visual identity and launch campaigns, plus web development, marketplace management, performance marketing, social media, email and WhatsApp marketing.
Its homepage doesn't mention startups.
Pick it if you want branding and marketing together at launch. Ask for a launch case study and its minimum commitment. No prices are shown.
6. ZeroAdo
ZeroAdo describes full-funnel marketing to drive leads and revenue, and says it's your one growth team that connects the dots across SEO, AI search, ads, websites and conversion optimisation. It offers a modular, SEO and CRO-friendly website and says it draws on its work with 75+ brands. It also says it tracks SEO performance from rankings to revenue, and runs targeted ads and retargeting campaigns across Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
Its homepage doesn't mention startups.
It fits a startup that wants lead generation measured to revenue. Ask what it needs in tracking before it starts. No prices are shown.
7. Schbang
Schbang calls itself a creative, media and technology transformation partner and says it has 1000+ specialists delivering work for 350+ brands worldwide, 11 years and counting. Its case studies include a social campaign for a food delivery startup and a brand identity for a plant-based meat cuisine startup. It says it's on a mission to take the best of Indian creative talent to the world.
Consider it if you want a larger creative team and your budget can carry it. Ask who'd be on a startup account and what the smallest engagement is. No prices are shown on the homepage.
8. Techmagnate
Techmagnate says it has helped businesses scale since 2006 with enterprise SEO, AI SEO, GEO and integrated search marketing. Its homepage talks about working with the largest enterprises, and about a goal of empowering 300+ businesses by 2030.
It lists paid marketing campaigns aimed at a higher return on ad spend, content assets and app visibility work too, and says its strategy draws on 20+ years of data, technology and experts.
It's a match if search is your main channel. Ask whether it takes early-stage clients and at what minimum spend, since its focus reads as enterprise. No prices are shown.
9. Social Beat
Social Beat says it has 300+ experts across 4 cities, and lists itself as a Google Partner and Meta Business Partner. Its business solutions menu includes a page for growth startups and apps, beside e-commerce, finance, healthcare and education. Its services include media planning and buying, social media marketing, video creation and influencer marketing. It says it's driving growth and managing 3% of India's digital spends, and mentions automated dashboards with real-time reporting.
Look at it if you're a funded startup scaling spend. Ask what a smaller budget gets, and whether it assigns a dedicated manager. No prices are shown.
10. Edtech
Edtech presents itself as a web design and digital marketing agency in Delhi, and says 350+ brands trust it. Its homepage lists web development, SEO, paid marketing across Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube ads, and ecommerce solutions. It also lists reputation management and branding, and says its SEO targets Google and AI-powered search platforms.
Its homepage doesn't mention startups, though its Google listing is for startups.
Use it if you want web and marketing from one Delhi team. Ask for startup examples and a written scope. No prices are shown.
How did we evaluate these agencies?
We read the homepage of each company on 9 October 2026, and HivePulse Media's startup page. This was a research-only review. We didn't call the agencies, test their work or speak to clients, so nothing here says how good any of them is.
We looked at four things:
- Which services the homepage lists
- Whether it mentions startups
- What it says about pricing
- What it doesn't say, like a missing minimum spend
Margo Digitech publishes this guide and placed itself first. Transcurators is second because startups need written pages, and writing is what it says it does. Items 3 to 10 appear in Google India results for this keyword, and their order isn't a ranking.
What should you ask any agency before you sign?
Ask for the minimum spend, the contract length and the monthly report, because a startup can't afford a long lock-in with no review point.
Start with one channel and a three-month test. Write down a cost-per-lead target before the first rupee goes out, and ask for a report in rupees, not impressions. Our guide to ROI in digital marketing shows how to turn leads into profit.
Under the Startup India initiative, eligible companies can get DPIIT recognition for tax benefits, easier compliance and IPR fast-tracking. Keep that paperwork separate from any marketing contract.
Frequently Asked Questions
No neutral ranking exists, and any list reflects who published it. Ours puts Margo Digitech first because we publish it, then Transcurators, then eight names from Google results. Compare agencies on minimum spend, contract length, reporting and whether they've worked with companies at your stage.
It's described as splitting a budget 70% on proven channels, 20% on emerging ones and 10% on experiments. It's an informal rule of thumb, and no platform publishes it. A startup with one proven channel can bend it, then test new ones in small steps.
No neutral figure exists. Work backwards from what a customer is worth: set a cost-per-customer ceiling, then divide your monthly budget by it to see how many customers you need. Only one agency here publishes startup prices, so compare quotes against your own ceiling.
An agency suits a startup that needs several skills part-time, such as ads, content and design. An in-house hire suits one channel that takes a full week. A common middle path is an agency for ads and a founder or intern for content. Review the split every quarter.
